Motivation will start you off, habit will keep you going.
You more likely to pick up a habit if you perform the act every day for a month. When you first brushed your teeth as I child your mum had to remind you go into bath room and brush your teeth until eventually it became a habit. We all have habits, good ones and the bad ones. Here’s 5 habits you should develop.
1) Exercise – Look good, feel better. A good way to start your day is with some form of exercise. Imagine waking up, smashing out a good work out and feeling amazing and refreshed ready to start the day.
2) Visualization – Successful people are visionaries, they create a clear image in their head of what they want. Something that I found very helpful was creating a vision board.
3) Read - I always used to tell myself reading wasn't for me, it makes me tired and I struggle with it so I won’t bother but I read my first book from start to finish was at the age of 21 and since then I’ve been hooked. There’s so much knowledge trapped in books. Never stop learning.
4) Set Goals – Average people will wish for things and say things like this, “I wish I could do that” whereas successful people will say I’m going to achieve that and start drafting up an action plan on how exactly they’re going to achieve it.
5)Wake up early – Successful people are up before 7am and already getting things done.
